· FABRIC ARTS: quilting, basic sewing, fashion design
· SCIENCE OF COOKING: multi-cultural cooking, dietary eating, culinary arts
· ADULTING-PRACTICAL SKILLS: practical living, civic duty, financial literacy
· ADULTING-SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING: behavior (showing empathy for others, establishing & maintaining supportive relationships, managing emotions and achieving personal goals
· MULTI-MEDIA: art lighting, sound tech training, vlogging/blogging, podcast
· TEST PREP: tutoring
· ROBOTICS/GAMING: analyzing perspective in competitive scenarios, problem-solving skills
· SPORTS: sportsmanship, safety, and general health, the concept of TEAM
· DIGITAL ARTS: animation
· COMPUTER SCIENCE: coding, creating games, website design
· ENTREPRENEURSHIP: business planning, bookkeeping, budgeting, goal setting, relationship building
· Girl’s Empowerment Group ( SSG) – Empowerment MS and HS club specifically for female students.
OUR VISION
The After-School Enrichment Program (ASEP) works with students to improve reading and math skills, leads to improvements in class participation, and increases school day attendance. ASEP provides opportunities to develop early exposure to the labor market with its focus on apprenticeships, internships, and mentorships.
